For many people, science can be confusing and hard to understand or just too long to read. Science articles were very hard for me to interpret at first when I had no knowledge of biology, physics, or chemistry. Most people don't have the time to study these topics, read through 40-page research papers, or subscribe to science magazines. By providing quick, concise summaries, SLOG aims to educate the public on science discoveries, inventions, and more!

Rishi Rai is a junior at St. Mark's School of Texas in Dallas. He is very passionate about biology, physics, chemistry and mathematics.
